At the end of each proof is a full suite mockup for you to be able to visualize the entire suite together.

Proofing + Design

We'll have an invitation consultation via phone where we'll chat about your vision, the design, and answer all questions. An online proposal will be sent shortly after this call, and we can also send a sample pack of physical samples for you. This allows you to touch, feel and see the paper, printing and color options in person - highly suggested!

HOW IT WORKS

Once your pieces are all approved, we will send them to our trusted specialty printing studio(s) to get printed. They work their magic, we'll do any necessary assembly or addressing and send them to you along with instructions to stuff, seal and mail to your guests! From there, we'll start working on any wedding-day items you have.

INQUIRE

Consultation + Proposal

Vellum is a translucent paper that is usually implemented as an overlay, wrap on an invitation, or belly band. It may have a printed design on it, or may be blank.

VELLUM

Typically also cardstock, but colored handmade paper and vellum are available. Hundreds of colors are available; along with envelopes, belly bands, and other embellishments.

COLORED CARDSTOCK

Handmade paper, sometimes known as cotton or cotton rag paper, is available in different colors and textures. Can only be printed with letterpress or foil methods.

HANDMADE PAPER

The most popular paper, and comes in a wide variety of thicknesses and color shades. While most are matte papers, it is available in hundreds of different sheens and textures.

CARDSTOCK

The options for papers are endless and we can use cardstock, colored papers, seed paper, recycled paper, vellum, glossy, soft, wood grain, handmade... you name it! Here are the most commonly used papers in our studio below:

PAPERS

The priciest of all options, but similar to letterpress as a plate is made of the design and lightly heat pressed into the paper. Depending on the print studio, there may or may not be an impression into the paper. Foil is the only way to get a metallic shine and can print any lettering, text or outlined artwork.

FOIL

Falling right in the middle of digital and foil in terms of pricing, letterpress can be done one color at a time. Each color is called a "pass" and can print any lettering, text or outlined artwork/illustration. This method presses a plate of the design into the paper, leaving a beautiful impression and creating a beautiful texture.

LETTERPRESS

The most cost effective option and is the only option that allows for multiple colors to be printed at once and thereby the only way to print watercolor. Most commonly used for details cards, reply cards, and envelopes. There is no texture in a digital print, making it the same texture as the paper it is printed on.

DIGITAL

The most common printing methods used in our studio are digital, letterpress and foil printing. A combination of any of these is possible.

PRINTING METHODS

A monogram design is included in the custom invitation design cost and these are useful to keep a cohesiveness throughout the wedding. You can use the monogram through our other printed and day-of to keep everything consistent and beautiful! An example of how to carry it throughout:
