RECENT BRANDING BOARDS

Through a series of online proofs, we will create four initial logo designs to get us headed in the right direction and then we'll begin to fine-tune. The simple, online form makes it easy to check box each element when approved or write in changes for the next proof. Four proofs are included in each package, and any additional are $25/proof.

Proofing + Design

We will have an initial branding consultation before booking where we'll chat about your goals, timeline, and if we will be a good fit. After this call, an invoice, contract and Branding 101 Form will be sent. The form is some homework for you that allows me to get a deeper dive into your brand goals. Once all three are completed, we'll move into proofs!

HOW IT WORKS

Once your logo is approved, we will send over the logo files for you. From here, we will work on your branded stationery, graphics, website design and any other items you may need to enhance your brand. I'll create some launch materials for you, and we'll "cheers" as you share your new look with the world!

It varies for each individual client. We will discuss an initial timeline and scheduled completion date with deadlines to meet that goal. Typically, the design process takes 4-5 weeks, but it mainly depends on how quick and ready the client is. Let’s chat about what’s best for you!

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?

This depends on our current design and production schedule. Let us know your desired completion date for your project and we can discuss a start date.

WHEN CAN WE START?

We build your brand from scratch, beginning with a 100% blank artboard canvas. By creating from the ground up, we are immersing you in your brand to get a first impression of the overall vibe. We feel this helps you get a deeper understanding as to how to visualize your future brand.

WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN APPROACH?

After our consultation and once I receive your Branding 101 Form, we begin the proofing process with a design board. This design board will include some initial fonts, colors and images, giving you a general feel about the direction of the branding. After getting your feedback from the design board, we will move into the logo proofing.

The first proof will contain four initial logo designs for you to look through. Each design is a carefully designed option with notes about its intentionality and brand potential. You'll choose a logo to move forward with, give your notes and corrections and another proof will be sent based on that feedback. This process continues until your logo is ready!

Four proofs are included in each package and any additional proofs are billed at $25/proof. Once your logo is approved, an Approval Proof will be sent with all versions of the logo and updated branding board to be officially signed off on. Shortly after, your logo files will be sent to you and the stationery/graphics design process begins!

WHAT IS PROOFING LIKE?

Before we start a project, we chat with each prospective client, educating them on our process, making sure our styles and aesthetic align. Our  design process is unique, and requires some "homework" from you, which helps us best provide you with an intentional and meaningful, well-rounded brand. We feel confident that we can create the perfect brand for you, provided that you understand our process and what to expect. We know how scary it is to put your business in someone else's hands and will do our best to make sure we are a good match before we begin.

Your 50% retainer is non-refundable and covers the time carefully working on curating your brand. If you feel we are not achieving your goals or getting close to the right direction, you are not required to pay your remaining balance and may cancel our contract.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT SATISFIED?

We believe in investing in your business, whether that’s with a bookkeeper, brand designer, or scuba instructor - whatever it is you need to grow your brand. We also believe in getting it right the first time. The return is so much greater when you invest in someone that will design with intention because your brand is more than just a logo - it’s an identity that you need to be able to understand and use efficiently. We put our heart and soul into our branding projects, which is why we make sure we are a good match before we start and why we take on a limited number of clients each year.

We are also ALL about consistency and cohesiveness, which is why we give you all brand elements to be able to carry that out. If you are looking for a complete brand overhaul and want us to take care of it from beginning to end, nothing would make us happier than to be able to handle it all for you!

Invoices can be made via online invoice with a credit or debit card, or you can mail a check. Please confirm the address with us before sending in a check. The remainder is due at design approval, when your logo is ready before we launch and we release the files to you. If you are in need of a payment plan, please contact us to see what we can do!

WHY IS IT EXPENSIVE?

The Branding 101 Form is an online homework assignment for you to fill out before the design process begins. This is where the majority of your time investment will come in and can take between 1-3 hours to work on. The more you put into this assignment, the more you'll get out of it in terms of the design. This form will go over your overall brand message, your ideal client and audience, your brand story, and brand aesthetics. Each section helps us in a specific way to be able to design for you and your audience best.
