Recently, we were able to work with our friend Jacquelyn from Beijos on the cutest dumpling-themed 1st birthday party! First birthdays are a big deal in the Korean culture, so they throw a special party called a Dol when a baby reaches one! It’s a really special tradition, and we were so excited to be able to help create a beautiful day for the family.

Rather than throwing a big party, this family wanted to keep it small and intimate – just the immediate family! It was touching, and a great way to document little Onyx’s growth and look forward to the future!

They wanted to create something modern and cute, with a dumpling theme and neutral colors, so we designed all of the stationery with that in mind! Simple modern fonts match perfectly with the adorable little dumpling illustration we drew. Everything is soft touches of blues and a variety of neutrals – which we love!
