This wedding is the epitome of a NYC winter fairytale wedding for Colleen + Jules. Colleen said she didn’t have much experience in wedding designing, but she knew what she liked and therefore trusted us to be creative with her vision.
We used a main color palette of ivory, gold, and dusty rose to create some stunning paper goods and other details for their wedding including their save the dates, a full invitation suite, menus, programs with a dusty rose silk ribbon, paper signage, wax seal escort cards, welcome bag cards and an insert with their custom venue sketch in their chocolate favors! Talk about consistency from beginning to end… our kind of wedding!
We created custom invitations for Colleen + Jules’ NYC winter wedding, and they were certainly the best first impression for their guests. Firstly, we have their custom calligraphy style that they chose, which set the tone for the level of formality with their invitations.
Secondly, their invitations were luxuriously printed on double-thick 2ply paper in matte gold letterpress and metallic gold foil. Their other cards were digitally printed and included a tri-fold details card with a custom map of Manhattan. Such a perfect NYC wedding invitation detail!
Lastly, the inner envelopes were lined in gold tissue and were hand calligraphed with guest first names. Those were placed in an outer envelope for extra protection. Their envelopes were sealed with a stunning Antique Gold, organic edge wax seal.
This foggy NYC day was perfect for Colleen + Jules’ winter wedding and it definitely embodies the spirit of Christmas in the city. We absolutely love the blue velvet suit details, misty avenues, and clear umbrellas getting into vintage cars. Most importantly, we can’t get enough of their love for each other, their laughter and smiles. It’s so apparent that these two love birds were meant for each other!
Their wedding ceremony took place in a church down the street from the wedding venue. Guests were welcomed with a program, hand-tied with dusty pink ribbon, matching the ribbon in the invitation suite. Shortly after their ceremony, Colleen + Jules are whisked away to take some beautiful photos together as husband and wife.
Where do we even begin with this stunning reception? Our favorite detail has to be all of the Christmas lights, making this room look so full of warmth and love. It’s the most perfectly adorned, classy Christmas wedding and we could not be more in love with it!
We created their handwritten escort cards with wax seals, table numbers, signage, and more. Anything you see with calligraphy, we had the pleasure of creating for Colleen + Jules’ NYC winter wedding.
