Meghan + Michael

This one… This one, you guys, is something super special to me. I have been so blessed to work with Meghan on many weddings + events prior to her big day. She is truly so talented, kind, and thoughtful and I could not be happier for them both. Their wedding was full of urban + rustic flare with mustard yellow, peach + black as their main color scheme. I can not wait to show you the gorgeous Roblar Farm venue in Santa Ynez, and their stunning black barn used as the blank canvas for their ceremony site! The beautiful mauve chairs and hanging floral installment added so much fun color against the black barn.

Alright, let me start off with the most unique and rad wedding invitations that Meghan and I designed with her and Michael’s style in mind. I used an edgier script font for them and loved incorporating their mustard, black + white color scheme into the entire invitation suite. One of my favorite parts was creating and assembling the details cards because the map and additional details had an awesome vellum cover assembled with black brads. The inner and RSVP envelope really added some pizzaz with the bold black to really offset the mustard yellow. To keep that urban, rustic vibe flowing, we wrapped the invitation suite with tan leather wrap, put it in a black inner envelope, and mailed it in a white outer envelope.

Day-of, there were stunning lounges with yellow sofas, an awesome display with tags around wine bottles that doubled as favors, the super chic bridesmaids’ dresses, hanging raindrop lights inside the barn, and a cannabis bar! Talk about a rad, or should I say low-key, awesome wedding?! I did handwritten calligraphy for the escort cards that hung around each wine bottleneck and had their welcome sign printed on matte black foam core. The bar menu and hashtag signs were printed on matte black paper as well and holy cow, that printing was just perfect to match the black barn.

Can I also rave about the food?! The food was so amazing done by the amazing K’Syrah Catering. You can just see how tasty it was from the photos! The literal cheese cake made from wheels of incredible cheeses is also such a memorable highlight – guests could pair those leftovers with the veggies they picked from the garden during cocktail hour! Such an awesome guest experience from beginning to end that also incorporated so much of their personalities and a wedding with puppies involved too is always a slam dunk.

Congratulations, Meghan + Michael!
You two deserve all the love and happiness in the world!
